During morning worship, the Song Byrds of Byrds Chapel Church, joined by New Henleyfield Southern Baptist Church, will present “For Flag and Freedom: A Memorial Day Choral Tribute,” honoring those who served and sacrificed for our nation.
Elementary VBS: June 3,4,5, 2026; 5:30p-7p; K-6th - Sports Spectacular Showdown is an action-packed, sports-themed VBS where kids learn what it means to run the race of faith with teamwork, perseverance, and trust in Christ. Through high-energy games, creative crafts, and engaging Bible lessons, children will discover that with God’s help, they can give their best both on and off the field. Rooted in 1 Corinthians 9:24–27, Philippians 4:13, and Hebrews 12:1–2, this VBS encourages kids to keep their eyes on Jesus as they run their race. Expect a fun stadium-style atmosphere with sports decorations, hands-on crafts like foam fingers and team pennants, exciting challenges like obstacle courses and team games, and classic concession-stand snacks. Athletes, referees, and cheerleaders welcome—team spirit encouraged!
