It is my great honor to be the pastor at Byrd's Chapel Church. I hope to bring a unique perspective to our congregation. I am a dedicated educator with a passion for both history and community service. Therefore, my love for the church is deeply rooted in a long history, having been established in 1820, as well as a proven track record of mission work in our community.  

As I step into this vital role, I aim to strengthen our bonds and inspire growth, by being committed to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment. Join us as we embark on a new chapter together as we move forward in Christ’s love.

As the Children’s Church Leader and VBS Coordinator at my church, I am eager about nurturing the faith and imagination of our youngest members. Each time our youth & kids are together, I strive to create a welcoming and vibrant environment where children can explore their spirituality through engaging stories, uplifting music, and fun activities. My mission is to inspire them to grow in their relationship with God while building lasting friendships.

As the worship leader at Byrd's Chapel Church, I am passionate about creating an atmosphere where hearts can connect with God through music and worship. I strive to inspire and uplift our community, guiding them in heartfelt expressions of faith. My goal is to foster an environment where everyone feels welcome to participate, allowing each individual to encounter the transformative power of worship. Hi there! II am in charge of our Facebook Live video feed, podcasts and slideshow presenter at Byrd's Chapel Church, where I love bringing our community together through creative visuals. Each week, I craft presentations that highlight our services, events, and special moments, making sure everyone feels connected and inspired. It’s a joy to use my skills to enhance our worship experience and share our church’s story with warmth and enthusiasm!

Hello! I'm the secretary and music director at Byrd's Chapel Church. My husband, Roger, and I have just moved back to Henleyfield, bringing along our two daughters, three granddaughters, two dogs, six granddogs, and even a flock of chickens! 

In my role as church secretary, I work hard to keep everything running smoothly and to create a warm, welcoming space for everyone. As the music director, I lead our choir practices and pick out songs for our Sunday services, always encouraging our community to join in and lift their voices in praise.
